Burwell Pool is open from May
to October each year and is available for public swimming, swimming
lessons, fun sessions and private hire.
Burwell
Community Swimming Pool Association (BCSPA) is a registered charity
setup to promote the provision of a swimming pool for the benefit of
the pupils of Burwell
Village College (Primary) and the inhabitants of the parish of Burwell.

Editorial
Burwell Pool is a heated
indoor seasonal pool open from May to October each year.
The pool itself is 15m long,
6m wide and has a starting depth of 1.1m graduating to 1.3m at the
"Deep End". The pool is managed by a team of volunteers and
adheres to all health and safety regulations. Water treatment is
managed by qualified staff and sessions are either supervised by a
qualified Lifeguard or First Aider, as appropriate. All swimming
lessons are delivered by an experienced ASA qualified instructor.
Burwell Pool offers at all
levels, either within a group or as 1:1 sessions. Free swimming
lessons are currently being offered as part of the Government
Free Swim Scheme to encourage weak or non swimmers to improve.
Burwell Pool provides a
smaller environment than it’s neighbouring local pools and is
ideal for families’ taking their young children swimming during
the Family Sessions. It's suitable for older children going swimming
by themselves during the Fun Sessions and ideal for hiring for Party
Sessions and for private use.
Burwell Community Swimming
Pool Association has been in existence for over 25 years and urgently
needs new committee members to continue to provide this valued
